MICRONEEDLING
Microneedling is a skin procedure that uses small needles to prick the skin. The purpose of treatment is to generate new collagen and skin tissue for smoother, firmer, more toned skin. Microneedling is mostly used on the face and may treat various wrinkles, scars, and large pores.
At Paramedical Tattoo Clinic our microneedling process is combined with two very effective serums, AAPE and PRP.
As we age, due to the reduction of collagen, your skin becomes thinner, reducing its ability to retain elasticity (from elastin) and moisture (hyaluronic acid).
Collagen gives your skin shape. It makes your face glow, plump, and youthful looking. The result of collagen loss creates fine lines known as wrinkles. Your skin appears looser from the pull of gravity. Your cheeks look more hollowed; you look tired with eyelids sagging and bags under the eyes. Your skin starts looking dryer and rougher, with dark spots appearing.
How would you like to turn the clock back on your facial aging skin without a surgical facelift? Skin Rejuvenation Clinic in Richmond Hill, Ontario offers the latest skin rejuvenation treatments to help you look more youthful and radiant.

PRP
PRP Skin Rejuvenation using Platelet-Enriched Plasma (PRP) has become one of the more popular cosmetic procedures in aesthetic medicine. The treatment is called PRP. PRP is a safe, cost-effective, effective treatment for facial rejuvenation which includes wrinkles, scars, sun damage, age spots, and dark circles under the eyes. Reversing the sign of aging and getting regenerative effects is possible using platelets and growth factors from your own blood. Post treatment effects shows a tighter, more radiant skin.Acne is a common problem for both men and women. Starting during puberty, acne can continue to occur in people in their 40s and 50s. While acne itself is an annoying condition, it can create skin damage that leaves scar tissue in the areas affected by acne. Pitted acne scars, called atrophic scars, may have a sunken appearance that makes the surface of the skin look uneven or pocked.
PRP has been found effective in helping patients with different types of scarring left behind due to acne breakouts. PRP or platelet-rich serum, when injected into the scar tissue, stimulates collagen and elastin production in the underlying layers of the skin. Over time, the depressions of the scars begin to even out, leaving a smoother, plumper, more youthful appearance.
Unlike fillers which often use synthetic material, PRP is an all-natural healing process using a serum that is derived from your own blood. PRP contains a concentrate of platelet-rich plasma protein. Platelets and the liquid plasma portion of the blood contain many growth factors, including mesenchymal stem cells, cytokines, and other components that are essential for the cell multiplication, recruitment, and specialization that are required for the body’s natural healing process.
Our PRP technician will harvest around 30 millimeters of your blood from your forearm. Your blood is placed it in a special sterilized test tube that prevents clotting. It is then centrifuged using a centrifugal machine, separating red blood cells with the platelets and plasma. This serum is then applied topically in combination with a micro needling device. The micro needling device when applied to the skin creates tiny holes in which the serum is absorbed into.
